July 12, 2003A gratuitous plugIf you're ever in the Berounka river valley just south of Prague, in the city of Řevnice, be sure to check out Martin Štorek's excellent bicycle store. It's always a pleasure to go into a store operated by someone who loves what they do, and this is definitely the case with Mr. Štorek. I dropped in partly to say hi, and partly to gawk at the newest, shiniest bikes and gear. Before I knew it, I had to buy some stuff. This may be of use if you ever decide to try the Greenways Praha-Vienna bike route. I've done about 90km of it now, from Prague to near Přibram, and while there are a few confusing stretches that could use some better signage, it's a most pleasant ride. My butt, however, has a different opinion. Posted by douglas at July 12, 2003 03:00 PM | TrackBack |
