But what's excellent is that he's been in the Radio 1 hitparada for quite some time, and his version of Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt" (click here for video, 32megs Quicktime) is at Number 1 now. His latest album, American IV: The Man Comes Around includes a pretty amazing version of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus," which also topped the R1 Hitparada.
Update Thu Jul 3, 2:08 pm: Alert reader Janet Dagley Dagley has fact-checked my ass. The photo, ad and story are four years old. It is true, however, that "Hurt" is on top of the Radio 1 Hitparada, but we'll see what happens this week. |
